December belongs to McAdenville. Christmas Town USA draws regional traffic that backs up onto the surrounding roads for weeks, and Belmont residents learn the timing: weeknights early, never a Saturday after dark, and walk it if you can.
Summer is hot and humid with fast afternoon storms — outdoor plans belong in the morning. Spring and October are the best weeks of the year here, which is also when the festival calendar is densest. Winters are mild enough that the trails and the conservatory stay usable throughout.
